MCCD Planters in Downtown Lewistown

This year’s display showcases native plants that can be utilized in the home and/or commercial landscape. The 2024 display showcases native plants to our region and a few hybrids of native plants. Check out the list below and take a stroll down Market Street to see the MCCD planters and all of the other beautiful planters in downtown Lewistown!

Large Planter (Center to Edge)

  • Sunflower hybrid (Helianthus hybrid)
  • Blanket flower (Gaillardia x grandiflora)
  • Moss phlox (Phlox subulata)

Small Planters (Center to Edge)

  • Purple coneflower (Echinacea pupurea)
  • Pennsylvania sedge (Carex pennsylvanica)
